In May this Year the Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation under its "Transportation Empowerment Scheme" distributed 18 Vehicles to selected beneficiaries drawn from the entire local government areas of Abia North Senatorial district. The18 vehicles include 15 Sienna and 3 Hummer buses.
In addition the 2nd Batch distribution of Palm Seedlings under the foundation's Agricultural Empowerment Scheme has also commenced. The aim is to empower rural farmers drawn from Abia-North and beyond with over 450,000 free palm seedlings.
