Yesterday, Small Scale Traders in Isiukwuato Local Government, Abia-North joined thousands of other beneficiaries in the on-going "Small Scale Traders Interest Free Loan Scheme" a Humanitarian Outreach of the Dr."Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation". The Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation headed by the Executive Secretary of the Foundation Rev. Jemimah Ola Kalu led the Foundation's team to distribute the loans to Petty Traders in the entire Seven Wards in Uturu Community.
The Wards covered include;
Ward 7- Achara
Ward 8- Akpukpa
Ward 9- Nvurunvu
ward 10- Umuanyi/Absu
ward 18- Ndundu
ward 19- Mbaugwu
And ward 20- Isunabo/Onuku.
The Foundation remains committed in reaching to every remote area in the rural communities. This is in line with its objective of supporting small business owners with the sole aim of empowering the people to become self reliant in order to poverty.
