Igbere Cultural Festival at its finest in 2025.

It was a beautiful gathering of Nde Igbere from Agbo to Ovum in their ingenious communities for 2025 Igbere Cultural Festival.

Culture they say it's beautiful and the way of life for a people, 2025 lgbere Cultural Festival Sponsored by Senator Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu showcased the Igbere Ebiri Okomoko rich and unique cultural heritage of the good people of Igbere.

The festival ended yesterday, 3rd January 2025, with the event held in the communities' village squares.

2nd January 2025 witnessed the diverse heritages of Agbo, Eziama, Amaukwu, Amakpo, Ibinanta, Amankalu, and Amaofufe in full display

The Festival continued yesterday 3rd January 2025 as Ibina Ukwu, Umuisi, Okafia, Ohumola, Amorji and Amaiyi showcasing the beautiful cultural heritage to the pleasure of His Excellency, Distingished Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and his entourage who visited the communities and observed the cultural display of Igbere special and beautiful culture.

Communities showed great passion while displaying Igbere culture in its beauty that created a lasting impression for us to continue to tell our historical existence and the protection of our precious cultural heritage.

Aside from fanfare, the festival promotes unity, social interaction, reconnection, and, above all, peace coexistence.

Congratulations to the winners. The panel of judges announced the winners and awarded cash prizes yesterday:

1st Position: Eziama and Amaukwu Villages with 1 million naira to be shared.

2nd Position: Umusi and Agbo Villages with N700,000 to be shared.

3rd Position: Amaiyi and Amaorji Villages with N500,000 to be shared.

4th Position: Amankalu and Ohumola Villages with N300,000 to be shared.

5th Position: Ibinanta and Okafia with N200,000 to be shared.
